As an Affinity Photos user, there is one annoying bug that I recently experienced, where I was searching fonts in the application. After looking for information about this problem, it was reported from the page affinity forums, it seems this problem is caused by some Windows update.
Some of the updates that cause this issue include:
- Windows 11:
KB5017264, KB5017267, KB5017271, KB5017859, KB5018341, KB5018546, KB5018859, KB5020695, KB5020617 - Windows 10:
KB5013887, KB5017262, KB5017266, KB5017858, KB5018329, KB5018543, KB5018544, KB5018545, KB5020613
So with that said, if users encounter the same problem, Affinity Photos recommend the user to remove the update if it has been installed on the device the user is using.
However, however other than removing the update hopefully in the Affinity Photos 1.8.6 update which may be released later, a fix for this issue could be shipped soon without any compatibility issues with updates in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
