Windows 11 2022 Update was just released by Microsoft some time ago, and to coincide with its release, Microsoft also updated the information page lifecycle from Windows 11.

Well in official pageMicrosoft informed that Windows 11 Home and Pro began to be supported since October 4, 2021 yesterday (together with the release of Windows 11 21H2) and will still be supported at least until there is a new version of Windows which may be Windows 12.

Underneath, there is information on the supported release versions, where for now there is Windows 11 21H2, and 22H2, for Windows 11 21H2, the support period starts on October 04, 2021 and will end next year, more precisely on October 10, 2023, while for Windows 11 22H2 , the support period starts September 20, 2022 until October 14, 2024.

Windows 11 2022 Update Will Be Supported Until 2024

Now Windows 11 22H2 or Windows 11 2022 Update itself will get support until October 14, 2024 and that’s still quite a long time, during which time Microsoft will continue to provide updates in the form of security update, featured update (moment update) and updates others which include repairs and more.

More or less this support period is 2 years, or rather about 18 months, the same as what we usually get in Windows 10.

So, for those of you who want to keep abreast of updates on Windows 11 that you are using, you must remember and know when the version of Windows 11 you are using is still supported by Microsoft, because if end date has been reached, Microsoft will no longer release any updates to the release version that you are using.

How to Check Windows 11 Version

Well for those of you who don’t know, you can go to Settings > System > Aboutthere will appear which edition of Windows 11 you are using, and information on what version is currently installed on your device.

I hope this information is helpful.
