Windows 10 and Windows 11 Cannot Be Downloaded Anymore in Russia!

The aftermath of the war seems to be protracted, with a number of services based in America and Europe ending their support in Russia.

Regarding this, Microsoft is now re-imposing indirect sanctions on Russia by stopping and removing download links for Windows 10 and 11 in Russia, so that users in Russia cannot get the ISO file of the two versions of Microsoft’s Windows.

Reported from BleepingComputerif the Russian Region user forces to download the Windows 10 and Windows 11 installation files, there will be an error message as shown in the following image.

Even though download via Media Creation Tools it seems that it can still be done, besides using a VPN and a number of other alternatives Russian users can still do if they want to get a copy of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
