A new feature seems to be being developed by Whatsapp again, based on information from WABetaInfo from Whatsapp beta (iOS 23.7.05), there is a new capability that allows users to share their Whatsapp Status to Facebook Story without having to change applications first.
Together with this ability, every status that the user sends will be automatically present on both platforms without having to leave Whatsapp first, and what’s interesting, the user can choose a setting whether the Posting option on Facebook Story will be turned on or off via the Settings > Privacy > Status page.

Now, this feature is still under development and still in internal testing, but of course this feature will be interesting if WhatsApp users are active Facebook users too.
