For a moment, let’s discuss the world of Linux first, guys, where is there interesting news coming from Ubuntu, because after all this time, finally Ubuntu will get a version Cinnamon which is now official.
Cinnamon itself is a typical Desktop Interface from Linux Mint, but with Ubuntu 23.04 which will be released in the next few weeks, Cinnamon Interface itself will also be available on Ubuntu as an Official Ubuntu Flavor which users can choose and use by default without having to do additional configurations as before.
So the picture above is an Example Desktop from Ubuntu Cinnamon 23.04, complete with the newest Lunar Lobster Wallpaper.
And like the rest of Cinnamon’s set of settings, Nemo will continue to be used as the default file manager, including the presence of tweaks that allow users to customize all kinds of additional applets, themes and other content from Hub Cinnamon Spices Online.
Meanwhile, the Yaru Ubuntu theme will remain the default GTK, Icon and Cinnamon Themes, besides that this version will also come with a number of additional applications such as LibreOffice , thunderbird , Rhythmbox and others.
Now, when it’s released, will you Ubuntu users use this Cinnamon Flavor? Comment below, guys, if I’m still loyal to Gnome.
