Recently, Twitter confirmed that they will start switching to full screen “immersive” video player for watching clips, and on closer inspection, it might be similar to TikTok, IG Reels, or Youtube Shorts with endless scroll videos.

As in the picture above, when the user clicks on Video in the Explorer page, the display will be created full screen in a TikTok-like style, where when scrolled, the user will see another video continuously.

Even so, the UI component of Twitter itself is still there, starting from comment, retweet, like and share, still at the bottom of the video player, without moving sideways like in TikTok or IG Reels.

Twitter claims that with this change, it will improve the experience video discovery getting better on their platform, but will it be well received by users like Twitter Fleets? let’s see in the future what the user’s response will be.

Meanwhile, for now, this new feature of Tweet is only available in a select number of countries, which use the Twitter app on iOS and Android in English.

So have you found this feature? and do you like it? comment below guys.
