Month April 2022 Then it was rumored that Twitter would get the Edit feature, which users had wanted for a long time, but after a long time, news of the feature seemed to just disappear.

But yesterday, Twitter in its official blog page started announce that they are testing the Edit Tweet feature by which making yesterday’s rumors are not just rumors.

The appearance itself is as in the following image:

Where after the user has edited, there will be information on the last time the tweet was edited.

Edit Limits

Although an edit feature will be added, according to Twitter, there are limitations to the feature, where a tweet can only be edited for “a few times” within 30 minutes of being tweeted for the first time. It’s just that the details of the word “several times” are not explained.

This feature is currently still being tested internally on Twitter, but will probably be available to users of Twitter Blue (a paid version of Twitter) and will then be expanded to everyone (regular Twitter users).

Later this month, we’ll be expanding Edit Tweet access to Twitter Blue subscribers. As part of their subscription, they receive early access to features and help us test them before they come to Twitter. The test will be localized to a single country at first and expand as we learn and observe how people use Edit Tweet. We’ll also be paying close attention to how the feature impacts the way people read, write, and engage with Tweets.said Twitter.

So what do you think? comment below guys.
