Twitter Circle which was announced last year which with this feature will allow users to share tweets with a predefined set of users without allowing all Twitter users to see tweets that was shared.
Now regarding this feature, recently there was news that Twitter Circle was not working properly and tweets it turned out to be visible to all users, and after a long time this problem existed, one month later Twitter finally acknowledged the problem and confirmed that there had indeed been a data leak for Twitter Circle users.
According to an email from Twitter sent to users affected by this problem, reportedly the problem has occurred since the beginning of the year and they are now starting to identify to try to fix the problem.
"Twitter berkomitmen untuk melindungi privasi orang-orang yang menggunakan layanan kami, dan kami memahami risiko yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh insiden seperti ini dan kami sangat menyesali hal ini terjadi." ungkap Twitter
While Twitter will fix this issue, keep in mind that not all users are using this feature and not even all Twitter Circle users are getting this issue.
