Even though Windows 11 now has lots of new features, there are still quite a number of users who want other features to be present in this latest Windows OS.
However, with the cooperation and support of users, several features that were previously only rumors and hopes have finally been obtained, for example, such as the Task Manager in the Windows 11 Taskbar Context Menu which is present in Windows 11 22H2, Tabs in File Explorer and many others.
However, there are still a number of features that are currently being requested by users, which include:
Option To Move Taskbar Position
Some users don’t like the position of the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and even some users who are used to the position of the Taskbar on the left, right or top during the previous Windows era feel quite at a loss.
In page feedback hubs, there are quite a lot of upvotes regarding this feature, but unfortunately until now there is no clarity whether this feature will be presented or not at all.
Additional File Type Compression Support
Currently Microsoft does support files with the .Zip format to be opened and extracted directly through File Explorer without additional applications, but there are quite a number of users on the Feedback Hub who want support for other additional formats such as .rar, .7zip and others.
At least, within the page feedback hubs there are more than 2000 upvotes from users who want this feature. So, meanwhile, Microsoft has also commented on the wishes of these users, but unfortunately there is still no clarity whether this feature will be presented or not.
"Thank you for your suggestion and feedback. It's great to see so much enthusiasm for supporting more compressed file types natively in Windows. While we can't promise to ship every suggestion that gets submitted, we have passed this feedback on to our team to make them aware that this is a top file explorer issue reported by customers. Keep those suggestions and votes coming! We'll keep you updated here if there are any updates in this area."
Properties Dialog With Dark Mode
Unfortunately until recently even if Windows 11 was using Dark Mode, part dialog properties still haven’t got the implementation of Dark Mode and it still has a light color.
Even though this is not an important issue, there are at least more than 2,000 users who have upvoted on feedback hubs.
Apart from the three things above, actually there are still many features that users want, such as the presence of the Tag feature in File Explorer, the ability dragging tabs from one File Explorer window to another, and more.
Then will Microsoft bring a number of features that these users want?
So, what features do you want to be present in Windows 11? Comment below, guys.
