Along with the release of Windows Web Experience Pack version 423.5300.0.0 for Windows 11 Insider Beta users and Release preview, with that Microsoft seems ready to release soon third party widgets for Windows 11.

Now third party widgets which currently users can use are limited, where currently only Xbox Game Pass, Facebook Messenger and Spotify are available, but with the introduction of Windows SDK 1.2, with that Developers can create widgets from their own applications, which of course will add to the crowd of Widgets in Windows 11.

As shown above, for you Windows 11 Insider Release preview Build 22621.1343 users, you can try third party widgets recently by updating the Windows Web Experience Pack through the Microsoft Store page.

After you update the application, you can add a number of widgets which are now available on the Widget Board > Add Widget in Windows 11, including Spotify which is now here for us to try and use.

Ready to be Released Next Month

This Third Party Widget is planned to be coming soon to Windows 11 Stable users through the Moment 2 Update which is expected to be present together with the Cumulative Update in March 2023.

So with that in mind, for those of you who want to try this feature, you just have to be patient and don’t need to rush to join the Windows insider, considering that this feature will be released soon for all users in the next few weeks.
