In Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25272 which was released earlier this month, it turns out that Microsoft has added additional information in the onedrive storage alert or onedrive notifications when capacity storage had almost reached its limit.
The image above is informational notification if OneDrive storage is running out, but after the Build 25272 update, the information is now increased as shown in the following figure:
The information now reads “You’re running low of cloud storage. If you run out of storage, you won’t be able to back up new files and send and receive email on Outlook.com.” where now it is also explained that if the storage has run out, users will not be able to send and receive email from Outlook.com.
If Insider Dev users haven’t gotten these changes, @PhantomOfEarth users on Twitter have shared the steps to enable it, as usual by using ViveTool and commands vivetool /enable /id:41540372we can activate the new alert.
