Previously it was reported that Steam Will End Support For Windows 7, 8 and 8.1where users are advised to upgrade if they want to continue using the Steam service to play games that users have purchased there.

Now, Steam support for these three OS will end on January 1, 2024, which is only a few months away, and friends, did you know that in the latest version of the Steam Client that was released some time ago, Steam started bringing end-of-life warning on a number of users with the OS mentioned above.

This is also listed in release note from steam client most recently, which are listed as follows:

Added "End of Life" alert for Windows 7/8/8.1. Steam Client support for these operating systems will end on Jan 1st, 2024 at 10am.

That said, users still using Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 can ignore the warning until at least early next year, because once the specified date is reached, inevitably users who want to continue using Steam will have to update their OS to Windows 10 or Windows 11.

But, keep in mind that recently Microsoft Announces Windows 10 22H2 Is the Final Version of Windows 10.

So, are you still using Steam on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1? comment below guys.
