On Skype Insiders 8.95.76.207 Microsoft is starting to bring Bing Chat support to this application, where users can directly interact with Bing Chat without having to leave the application.

But in Skype Insider 8.97 which was released a few days ago, Microsoft apparently made a few changes to the integration, where now Bing has been rebranded to become ‘GPT AI Co-pilot’ where you can find this at conversation headers on the Skype application in all platforms.

Apart from these changes, there are no other changes from Bing Chat Integration and everything is still the same as before.

As for other improvements, there is one thing that was also introduced in Skype Insider 8.97, which is presence Today’s desktop tab, where on the Today tab, Microsoft will provide information about the latest news developments and trends.

However, the Today Tab feature is only available in the United States and is not yet available in other regions. And for improvement, in this Skype Insider 8.97 Microsoft presents a number of improvements which include:

  • Skype chat translation (1:1) in a translated conversation was only working one-way on Windows.
  • On tapping a notification, it didn’t navigate you directly to the message on which reaction was made on iPhone.
  • The Share button shared the link twice on iOS.
  • Not receiving missed calls notifications on iOS.
  • UI is broken when bookmarking your own message on Web on Mac.
  • Could not enter into a chat group when clicking a non Bing url link on Web on Windows.

So that’s all possible for what changes are present in this latest version, for you Skype Insider users you can already download this latest version via the page following.
