Based on data from StatCounter in February 2023 yesterday, Google Chrome still occupies the first position as the most used browser in the world, where Google Chrome has at least 66.12% of the total.
In second place is Microsoft Edge, which unfortunately is decreasing day by day because of the many complaints about features it doesn’t need, and at least last February, Microsoft Edge lost a value of 0.24%, bringing it down to 10.84%.
And in the meantime, it seems that Apple Safari users have quite jumped up and almost reached the second position as the most used browser, where Apple Safari has 10.14% below Microsoft Edge, this figure has increased 0.83% compared to the previous month, and of course it does not rule out that Apple Safari could just get the second position to replace Microsoft Edge.
Meanwhile, for the Mobile version, Safari is actually in second place under Google Chrome, in contrast to Microsoft Edge, which is not even in the top five most used browsers on Mobile Devices.
However, if the overall data is combined, then Safari is in second place beating Microsoft Edge which fell from its position. The following is the estimated total browser marketshare figures based on data from StatCounter.
- Google Chrome – 65.74% (+0.31)
- Apple Safari – 18.86% (+0.17)
- Microsoft Edge – 4.27% (-0.19)
- Mozilla Firefox – 2.92% (-0.09)
- Samsung Internet – 2.6% (-0.01)
So, are you a Safari user? if on iOS I think Safari is indeed more OK and to be honest I also like the browser.
What do you think? comment below guys.
