As you already know from the rumors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip will reportedly come with a minor upgrade if we compare the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 — where only the GPU sector is being upgraded, the rest still use the same CPU structure, one Cortex core. X2 @3Ghz, three Cortex A710 cores and four Cortex A510 cores.

Oh yes, unlike its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset is said to be made using the 4nm process from TSMC (not Samsung) and Motorola is rumored to be one of the first OEMs to use the chip in its Motorola Edge X30 phone.

Then for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 platform, this is a new chip that will use four Cortex-A710 cores with clock speed @ 2.36GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores with a speed of @1.8Ghz along with an Adreno 662 GPU. Oppo is rumored to be the first to use this chip in the Oppo Reno8 phone which will be unveiled on 23 May.
