Mikahil Parakhin who currently serves as head of Advertising and Web Services at Microsoft revealed an interesting piece of information that Bing Chat must get a new model update three times a year, this model update will bring a number of new features to Generative Chatbot AI meant to give formatting and better improvements.
Regarding this news, unfortunately there is no information related to this roadmap Bing Chat, where this is just a rough estimate which Mikhail gave a little to say, he said “you should expect the model to be updated maybe three times a year or so” indicating that this is a rough estimate and subject to change.
Apart from predicting that there will be three major updates in one year, he also said that there will be several little reinforcement learning based on user feedback (RLHF / reinforcement learning from human feedback), which can improve response from BingChat.
