After last week Windows Insider Dev Channel users didn’t get a new build, this week the update that has been waiting for has finally arrived guys, where the new build presented to Windows Insider Dev Channel users is Build 25309 which of course besides bringing lots of improvements there are also new features that introduced.

First, in Build 25309, Microsoft introduced a new Volume Mixer Experience in Quick Settings, where users can now manage audio better and more easily with this improvement.

You can also access this new Volume Mixer Experience using the Win + Ctrl + V combination key for faster access.

In addition, on the Settings page and more precisely on the Keyboard Settings, Microsoft updates touch keyboard settings, where you can set how touch keyboard Work.

You can see the new options on the page Settings > Time & language > Typing > Touch keyboardwhere you can find options dropdown to set how touch keyboard come on stage.

The third exists Auto Color Management (ACM) which has now been improved again, where with this option, users can adjust the ACM on the SDR Display so that the color display on the Monitor is even better.

But of course this setting is only available for devices that support it, which includes:

- WDDM driver version 3.0 or greater
- Supported GPU:
  - AMD:
-AMD RX 400 Series or later
-AMD Ryzen processors with Radeon Graphics
  - Intel
-Integrated: Intel 12th Gen (Alder Lake) or later
    -Discrete: Intel DG1 or later
  - NVIDIA:
-NVIDIA GTX 10xx or later (Pascal+)

- There are no hard requirements on the display or connection – ACM can provide benefits even on 8-bit sRGB panels. However, we strongly recommend ACM devices to have panels with a wider-than-sRGB gamut, and optionally 10-bits per color channel or greater.

Apart from that, the fourth is that now Voice Access is also being improved again, where in part help page now has a new look that is more fresh.

And apart from that, users can also set the language via the Voice Access bar.

And there are many other improvements that are presented, including several improvements such as badge warning to perform a backup in the Profile icon in the Start Menu.

Then there is the second-chance out of box experience (SCOOBE) which users might not like because it is only considered an advertisement.

The Search Box on the Taskbar appears brighter when Windows 11 is set to Dark Mode.

Then there is a ‘Pizza’ icon in the File Explorer toolbar which shows a preview version of File Explorer (Windows App SDK version).

And the new snap layout experience which was removed yesterday at Build 25300 due to a bug.

And yes, there are lots of improvements presented in this build, so of course Insider Dev Channel users are recommended to update their system to this newer version.

If you are curious about the changelog of this build, you can take a look at Microsoft’s page following for more detailed information.

So, have you updated your system, guys? You can get this update via Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates, and make sure you’ve downloaded and installed it. Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25309.
