After almost 1 month Microsoft didn’t release any new updates for Windows Insider Canary users, today they finally released a new update with Build 25905. Microsoft also added that with this build, desktop watermark will be returned to RS_PRERELEASE meaning all features that were previously removed “after previously being transitioned to labels ZN_RELEASE” has now been restored.
"Starting with today’s build, Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel will notice that the name of the branch shown in the desktop watermark has changed back to RS_PRERELEASE. As a result of this change, Insiders will notice that some features that were previously removed temporarily with the switch over to ZN_RELEASE have now returned – in addition to some new features mentioned below." ungkap Microsoft.
Meanwhile, there are a number of new features presented in this build, which include iDevDrive, Backup and Restore improvements (Windows Backup), Dynamic Lighting, Windows App SDK version of File Explorer and Galleryand others that have also been introduced on the Windows Insider Dev Channel.
Then there is a little addition, namely starting from this build, Microsoft is bringing Rust support to the Windows Kernel. following. With the implementation of Rust in the Windows Kernel, there are a number of advantages in reliability and security over traditional programs written in C/C++ and in particular, win32kbase_rs. sys contains a new implementation of GDI Regions.
In addition, Microsoft has also begun to stop supporting ARM32 UWP Apps starting at Build 25905, where after being updated to this build, all installed ARM32 applications will no longer be able to be used on the device you are using.
Other Improvements

Known Issues
Meanwhile, there are only two known issues listed by Microsoft, which includes:
- [NEW] This build will not be offered to ASUS devices or PCs with ASUS motherboards.
- [NEW] Ethernet-connected devices may lose network connectivity after updating to this build. Unplugging the ethernet cable and re-plugging the cable in should resolve the issue.
