As we already know, Microsoft has provided options Windows 11 Enterprise Evaluation which users can use with a period of about 90 days before users can update the system with the new build available.

And after last March 2023 we got a VM from Windows 11 Enterprise Evaluation, in May 2023 we got Build 22621.1702 which brings cumulative updates month May 2023 in this VM installation package.

In addition, just like the previous version, this Virtual machine file consists of several different files according to the preferences of the user’s chosen VM application, there are VMWare, Hyper-V, VirtualBox and Parallels, and it doesn’t just contain Windows 11 Enterprise, there are a number of things included in this VM include:

  • Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition with UWP, .NET Desktop, Azure, and Windows App SDK for C# workloads enabled
  • Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 enabled with Ubuntu installed
  • Windows Terminal installed
  • Developer mode enabled

Size and How to Download

For its own size, this VM package is about 20 GB in size, quite large indeed, because once again it includes a number of applications and even WSL with the Ubuntu distro.

But what is certain, at least you need about 24 GB of free space inside hard drive so that this VM can run optimally.

As for how to download it, you can just go to the page https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/virtual-machines/ to download this Windows 11 Enterprise VM.

How have you tried this VM from Windows 11 Enterprise Evaluation? Comment below guys and give your opinion.
