Microsoft Releases Update KB5025310 For Windows 11 Insider Beta

Apart from releasing Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 23430 And Windows 11 Insider Canary Build 25336this week Microsoft of course also released a new update for Windows Insider Beta Channel users which as usual this build is divided into two, namely Build 22621 and 22624.

Now the update that is presented itself is update KB5025310 where this update will change the OS Build to 22624.1546 and 22621.1546.

Sedikit informasi nih terutama bagi yang belum tahu, Build 22621 adalah Build yang memiliki fitur baru namun Off secara default, dimana pengguna harus mengaktifkan fitur baru tersebut secara manual menggunakan alat seperti ViveTool, sementara itu Build 22624 berisi semua fitur baru yang sudah On secara default. 

Now in this build, Microsoft has highlighted a number of things in its release note, one of which is additional information about CABC, where previously we introduced Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC) which functions on desktop PCs, but Microsoft has now updated the documentation page regarding the feature. this is where Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC) must also be activated by the OEM (device manufacturer). As a result, this feature is not available on all laptops or 2-in-1 devices.

And just like Insiders Canaries 25336 And Dev 23430in this build, Microsoft replaced the All tabs option with the 20 most recent tabs as shown below.

Also on the Settings page, this build brings improved Search in the Windows 11 Settings app, and of course the same as introduced in the Dev build, now when the user presses the button print screen then the Snipping application will open by default.

You can set the Snipping Tool option on the Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard page, if you don’t like Print Screen opening the application automatically.

Apart from that, there is something quite interesting, where if the Insider has got it Access Keys in File Explorerthe combination Shift + Right Click key will no longer display the old Context Menu or Show more options by default, this has been explained by Microsoft as Known Issues and Bugs in this Build, and hopefully improvements will be presented by Microsoft soon.

In addition to the amount of information that WinPoin has discussed above, there are a number of improvements and improvements expected for Windows 11 Build 22624.1546which includes:

• Fixed an issue where text input features like touch keyboard, voice typing, and emoji panel might not launch.
• Fixed an issue where the buttons in the Pinyin IME’s settings flyout were hard to see when they had focus if a contrast theme was enabled.
• Fixed an issue where some of the details in the Performance page wouldn’t display properly until you resized the window or changed pages back and forth.

So, let’s get straight to it, for you Windows Insider Beta Channel users, both Build 22621 or 22624, you can just update your system to this build xxxx.1546 via the Settings page > Windows Update > Check for updates.
