Microsoft Releases Cumulative Update November 2022 For Windows 11

I can’t believe it, it’s now the second week of November 2022, where according to Microsoft’s monthly schedule, they will release Tuesday’s patch or cumulative updates monthly for the operating system they still support.

And one of them is Windows 11, where now there are two versions of Windows 11, namely versions 21H2 and 22H2, both of which will get it Tuesday’s patch this month, where Windows 11 21H2 will get an update KB5019980 which will change the Build OS to 22000.1219, while Windows 11 22H2 will get the update KB5019980 which will change the Build OS to 22621,819.

Reporting from the official Microsoft page, there is not much information attached about these two updates, other than both bringing improvements to the operating system. And if you’re curious, here is the full changelog.

For Windows 11 21H1

• It addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.
• It makes miscellaneous security improvements to internal OS functionality. No additional issues were documented for this release.

For Windows 11 22H2

• It addresses an issue that affects File Explorer. It fails to localize folders.
• It addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.

Apart from the little changelog information, in fact the two updates that were presented brought improvements that were present in the Update Preview at the end of last October, where for Windows 11 21H2 brought improvements that were present in the update. KB5018483and Windows 11 22H2 brings the improvements that come with the update KB5018496.

So for those of you who have not previously installed the KB5018483 preview update or KB5018496automatically both the contents of the update have been present via cumulative update this month.

Now go ahead, for you Windows 11 users, you can get cumulative updates this via page Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates, then please download the cumulative updates available there.

Oh yeah, one more thing, because this update brings improvements from last month’s preview update, the Task Manager on the Taskbar is now available if you install this cumulative update.
