Xbox Cloud Gaming, also known as Project xCloud, is now getting a better upgrade where Project xCloud now supports Mouse and Keyboard for users.
In addition, Microsoft has also offered a new API to improve streaming latency so that users are more comfortable playing games via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Regarding this new improvement, based on information from Morgan Brown, Software Engineer at Xbox Game Streaming Team, game developers can now add Keyboard and Mouse support so that Console users can play even more fun, this is of course because for now, keyboard capabilities / support and the mouse is only limited to a number of games, including Minecraft, Halo: MCC, Gear 5 and Sea of Thieves only.
Meanwhile, to increase Latency, Microsoft has now updated the Display Detail API which is intended to reduce latency so that players can play games more comfortably.
Delay reduction is also based on Microsoft’s claim, it can be up to 72 MS, this certainly doesn’t escape the help of Direct Capture which replicates hardware features in software and eliminates VSync Latency, and a number of other improvements.
So what do you think? are you an Xbox Cloud Gaming user? comment below guys.
