Yesterday, users complained that Bing Chat experienced an error when users tried to access it, and regarding this, unfortunately, until now there has been no official information from Microsoft, but it’s possible that the Bing Chat error yesterday was related to the changes that Microsoft started implementing today.

Now regarding the new Bing Chat or Bing, Microsoft recently announced a fundamental change in the way selected people will interact with Bing Chat in the future, where in its official post, Microsoft stated.

"Starting today, the chat experience will be capped at 50 chat turns per day and 5 chat turns per session. A turn is a conversation exchange which contains both a user question and a reply from Bing.

Our data has shown that the vast majority of you find the answers you’re looking for within 5 turns and that only ~1% of chat conversations have 50+ messages. After a chat session hits 5 turns, you will be prompted to start a new topic. At the end of each chat session, context needs to be cleared so the model won’t get confused."

So, starting today, users will be limited to asking questions on Bing Chat, only up to 5 persession chats or 50 chats per day. After the 5 sessions end, the user will be asked to start a new topic, and if 50 chats have been exceeded, the user will get a message saying “Sorry, you’ve reached your daily limit to chat. Let’s pick up again tomorrow!”which of course is quite annoying if the conversation is not done with Bing Chat.

This change was made by Microsoft to help focus chat sessions, so as not to confuse the Chat Model that underlies the new Bing.

"As we continue to get your feedback, we will explore expanding the caps on chat sessions to further enhance search and discovery experiences."

So, what do you think about this, and have you ever tried this Bing Chat? comment below guys.
