It was recently rumored that Microsoft is working on a “lite” version of the Outlook application on Android, which is intended to make Outlook run smoother and faster than the current Outlook application.

Regarding this news, you can see from the Microsoft 365 Roadmap page, where Microsoft explains that they may be releasing Outlook Lite in July 2022.

“An Android app that brings the main benefits of Outlook in a smaller app size with fast performance for low-end devices on any network,” the roadmap says.Microsoft explained.

For a sneak peek of how the app came to be, German site Dr.Windows published how the app will look.

One of the things that distinguishes Outlook Lite and regular Outlook applications is, in Outlook Lite, it is reported that we can only enter one email account in the application, other than that the appearance will be simpler and not luxurious with features like the usual Outlook application.

This new application is reportedly also one part of the “One Outlook” idea which Microsoft is currently working on and has started to allow users to test and use.

Well, of course, once again, the news from the Outlook Lite application is still not perfect, whether it’s regarding the details of the release, the Android version supported by this application, or other information, for the next we may wait for further information from Microsoft.
