Recently Windows 11 Insider Canary users 25324 reported a problem where the system they use cannot shutdown if the XBox Controller is still connected via a USB cable to the device.

Now this problem has finally been confirmed by Microsoft, where apart from not being able to shutdown, users of Insider Canary Build 25314 and 25324 may find green screen of dead when sleep while the Xbox Controller is still connected.

"Thanks for taking the time to report this - we're investigating an issue where if you have a wired Xbox controller connected then shutdown will hang. This is the same root cause as some insiders seeing bugchecks (or rather green screens) when the PC is asleep. We're working on a fix. "

Microsoft is currently working on addressing this issue and it is likely that a fix will be presented in Update Canary next week. But for sure, if you encounter this problem, it’s a good idea to unplug all Xbox Controllers connected to your Windows 11 Insider Canary device (laptop/PC) before your device Sleeps or Shutdown to avoid this reported problem.

So, have you encountered this problem? comment below guys.
