Recently Meta announced that they are starting to expand their program verified where this program is now available for Facebook and Instagram users in the UK region.
With programs this verified, later users will get a number of special access such as proactive impersonation protection, customer support, and a blue badge which is a marker that the user has been verified.
For the price alone, verified this program priced at £ 9.99 per month for each service either Facebook or Instagram.
Apart from that Meta also reveals that to subscribe verified this program, user must be at least 18 years old, activate two factor verification, and verify with the ID obtained from the local government.
And one thing is certain, unlike Twitter which removed the blue tick on all accounts and replaced it with a subscription package, Meta will still allow blue ticks for accounts that really stand out and have been previously verified without any payment required.
