It’s no longer a secret that Microsoft Edge has a myriad of features that users never even touch at all, let’s say something like follow creator, unit converter, and many other features.

Now, the many features themselves have made users who initially liked Edge Chromium slowly start leaving it and returning to only using Edge for downloads favorite browser user.

Regarding Edge Chromium, some time ago it was reported that there is an interesting option present in Microsoft Edge Canary which is present for a select number of users where this option will allow users to turn off (disable) features that are not needed via the page Settings > Optional Features or edge://settings/optionalFeatures.

And as stated in description in the picture above, it is written that later the user can turn off features that are not needed by the user.

"Microsoft Edge now lets you turn off optional browser features so as to make it the fastest browsing experience for you. Features that are turned off are still available to you but will require a small download to enable."

But unfortunately there isn’t much information about this, and which features can be removed and turned off later, my hope is that all unnecessary features are available to be turned off and can be selected by the user himself.

So what do you think? comment below guys.
