Even though the Settings app in Windows 11 has started powerful and replaces the Control Panel that has existed since the era of the previous Windows OS, but until now the Control Panel is still there and can still be used by users, especially to access a number of old settings.

Now on Windows 11 22H2 or Windows 11 2022 Update with build 22622,586it seems that there is an update presented by Microsoft, but I myself am confused whether this is a bug or it is a feature that is presented, namely the Control Panel in Windows 11 Build 22622,586 does not have an address bar.

As you can see in the comparison image above, control panel no longer showing address bar or the address bar, even though it really is address bar this is not a key feature, but users who prefer to navigate via the Address bar will be a bit lost.

Regarding this, unfortunately there is no detailed information from Microsoft, even in several forums, this is a question, whether this is indeed a bug or is it a new feature that is presented by Microsoft.

However, it could be that this is indeed a further step to starting to leave control panel in Windows 11, especially as quoted from Tweet @BrandonLeblanc who is the Senior Program Manager in the Windows Insider Program Team, Microsoft reportedly will not add this as a known issues, so in other words, it’s not a bug that should be fixed.

So what do you think? comment below guys.
