The Always on Display feature or the screen that is always on is not a new feature in the smartphone world. Many smartphone manufacturers have brought this feature to their smartphones.

For example, the LG G5 smartphone in 2015 which already carried Always on Display technology. Then followed by Samsung in 2016 with the release of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Apple has yet to provide this feature. But this seems to be changing soon because the iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to have an Always on Display feature.

With Always on Display, users will be able to view widgets, battery status, screensavers, and notifications without having to open the screen or press the smartphone’s power button.

Users will be able to customize the screen to display the date, time, battery status, screensaver, and so on continuously without worrying about the battery running out quickly.

iPhone 14 Pro will use ProMotion technology with extended refresh rate variability and be able to lower the refresh rate to 1Hz to save battery.

What do you think about the presence of this feature on the iPhone for the first time?
