Widgets for Windows 11 were first moved to the left of the user’s screen since Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22518and now the Widget is present by default in the Windows 11 OS that we use.

Inside the Widget, there are a number of important information displayed, you name it weather, news and others. But what if we want taskbar not displaying Widgets? because just like News & Interest in Windows 10, this feature actually adds to the impression of non-minimalism from the taskbar itself.

And fortunately, just like News & Interest in Windows 10, we can hide Widgets in Windows 11 easily, and here are the short steps.

Step 1. First, please open Settings > Personalizations > Taskbar.

Step 2. Furthermore, exactly as in the picture above, in the Taskbar items section, please set the Widget to Off.

And finished, after you follow the two steps above, the Widget icon on the Windows 11 Taskbar will disappear. How easy and short isn’t it? I hope this article is useful for those of you who need it. Thank you
