Sometimes in order to maintain privacy, we have to hide some of the files that we open from pages that are easy for others to access, one of them is from recent files on the Home page in File Explorer.

Step 1. First open Folder Options (in File Explorer click the three dots > Options).

Step 2. Then after Folder Options opens, please disable / disable the option show recently used files which is available on the General > Privacy tab.

After that click Apply and click Ok, and the results are finished.

Now the Home page in File Explorer will no longer display recent files which may contain files that are personal and do not want to be known by others.
