Recently Firefox users get important update ie version 113.1 is available for all platforms. Through This update, Firefox brings a number of important fixes including one bug that was recently reported to be present in Windows OS.

Now for those who don’t know, previously there was a broken feature in Firefox where color management does not display correctly and causes colors in the browser to appear not as they should.

According to information from Firefox, this problem appears to be because the browser is apparently failing to update non-client region caching information related to the Desktop Window Manager (DWM).

  • Fixed borders being visible around fullscreen windows for some configurations (bugs 1830721)
  • Fixed an issue which may cause users in some configurations to experience tearing when watching videos in fullscreen mode (bugs 1830792)
