Early March 2023 Microsoft has officially released Windows 11 22H2 Moment 2 Update through preview updates KB5022913, where in this Moment 2 Update, there are a number of new features presented, although in release note Officially, Microsoft looks more highlighting AI capabilities in Windows 11, Bing and Edge.
After using this update for a few days, there are a number of features that I like and that I think really help us as users, which include:
File Explorer improvements
When we use the Search bar feature in File Explorer, now search results will be displayed instantly and faster than previous versions.
Search in Task Manager
This feature has indeed been presented for Insider Beta with Build 22623 for quite a long time, but now the feature which is one of the features and is the best improvement in Windows 11 22H2 in my opinion is finally available to all users.
Tabs in Notepad
Features originally tested on Windows Insider Dev Build 25281 We can finally use this by default and are available to all users, and with this improvement, of course we can open multiple notes in the same window.

To be honest, I really like this feature, because once again I say that with this feature we can open many notes in the same window without having to open multi-windows from Notepad.
Screen Recording in Snipping Tool
At the end of 2020, Microsoft started introduce Screen Recording is integrated with the Snipping Tool, this feature has also been tested since Windows 11 Insider Dev Build 25281 and now we can get it by default after we use Windows 11 22H2 Moment 2.
And although my opinion is still the same as in this feature review, you can read the article on the page followingIn general, in my opinion, this screen recorder is not very useful because even with the Xbox Game Bar we can record the screen better, including recording display audio and input via microphone. For those of you who want to only record the screen, of course this feature is indeed useful, but once again, the screen recorder in this snipping tool is just like a screenshot but works like a video, why? because there is no audio that is recorded in it.
But overall, for those of you who might want to record a simple screen without wanting to use third-party applications such as OBS, this feature is really worth using.
Apart from the four features above, actually there are other new features that are also presented in Windows 11 22H2 Moment 2, it’s just that maybe in my opinion these features are not really used, for example like Full-screen Widgets Panel And third Party Widgets, I personally don’t like these two improvements because I don’t actively use Widgets and I never even open them.
Besides that there is Studio Effects in Quick Settings, Voice Access enhancements, New Taskbar search bar options And Energy recommendations in Settings which again I don’t really use too much because it’s rarely accessed by most users.
But even so, overall I like this Windows 11 22H2 Moment 2 Update, because this update directly improves Windows 11 22H2 according to what Microsoft revealed at the introduction of Windows 11 22H2 in September 2022.
And yeah, you really have to update your Windows to this version, because in the testing and installation that I did, thankfully there were no problems and so far I haven’t found any bugs.
