Regarding this, Microsoft made an official announcement yesterday, where ChatGPT will implement Bing as the default search engine so that users can get more updated and more accurate information.

In addition, Microsoft also promises that they will use the same open plug-in standard on Bing Chatbot as used on ChatGPT, which will provide interoperability between the Bing Chat plugin, the Microsoft Copilot platform, and ChatGPT, as well as give users greater flexibility in using various GPT-4 based services.
