For you Apple Watch users, Apple officially released the watchOS 8.6 update today. The update brings support for the ECG feature on Apple Watch to new countries.
The new country is Mexico. As for ECG support in Indonesia, Apple has provided support for the last watchOS 8.4 update.
Aside from the ECG support and irregular heart rhythm in Mexico, there doesn’t seem to be any really significant new features. Apple seems to only focus on bug fixes and system improvements.
It could be that the watchOS 8.6 update is the last watchOS update before Apple will finally introduce watchOS 9 at the upcoming WWDC 2022.
