While the Threads application on iOS and Android was quite popular in its first week, there were quite a number of users who hoped for the presence of a web version of Threads so that users could more freely open the text-based social media on the desktop that users use.
Actually, guys, though currently the website https://www.threads.net/ is still empty and only displays a qrcode to download applications on iOS and Android, but in fact we can open posts, profiles and more from Threads, even though we don’t have access to make posts, repost, like and the like.
Meanwhile, based on information from WindowsLatest, Adam Mosseri served as head ofInstagram have revealed that Meta is actually working on a web version of threads, only that they are in no rush to release it to the public.
And what’s more interesting, according to information from Windows Latest, a Meta employee also confirmed that Instagram plans to bring Threads to the Windows 11 Microsoft Store soon.
In my opinion, after the Web version is finished, later the PWA version of Threads will start to be presented in the Microsoft Store via Microsoft Edge’s WebView technology with deeper OS integration such as support taskbar, notifications and others. Wouldn’t it be interesting?
It’s worth noting that there are still a lot of details we haven’t got, but it’s likely that a Web version of Threads may be available to the public in the coming months.
What do you think? Comment below guys, and give your opinion.
