One feature that I honestly don’t like is the Edge Sidebar, where in this Sidebar there are many things that Microsoft has added, including the integration of Microsoft 365, Games, Tools, and others that seem to make this browser no longer as simple as it used to be.
Besides that, friends, sometimes what’s even more annoying is, if we add other services or other websites on the Sidebar, there will be notifications that appear along with the incoming notifications on the service, and for those of you who don’t like being disturbed by notifications, of course turning off the notification feature is quite important to do.
Luckily, turning off notifications on Edge Sidebar is quite easy, and if you’re curious, here WinPoin summarizes the short steps.
Step 1. First, please enter the page Edge Settings > Sidebar.
Step 2. Then, on the part Allow sidebar apps to show notifications please disable this option.
And it’s finished, now the Edge sidebar will no longer display any notifications. For those of you who want to completely get rid of Edge Sidebar, you can get rid of it by turning off the settings Always show sidebar available there.
So, please try it guys, I hope this article is useful, thank you.
