The drama regarding the acquisition of Activision Blizzard seems to be still heating up, where now it’s Sony’s turn to block 4 game titles so they can’t be present on Xbox forever.

The four game titles include Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Bloodborne, and even Final Fantasy XVI which is planned to be released next year.

Of course, some of these titles are quite popular, especially Final Fantasy and Silent Hill, which have quite a lot of fans, and why did this happen? Windows Centralthis is because Sony has signed a xbox exclusion agreement with a number third party publishers for a number of games including Final Fantasy, and of course this is the aftermath of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard which Microsoft has done a few months ago.

Got this news, Microsoft too confirm that this is indeed true and of course there may not be anything that Microsoft can do so that a number of these games can be present on their vaunted Xbox platform.

“In addition to having outright exclusive content, Sony has also entered into arrangements with third-party publishers which require the “exclusion” of Xbox from the set of platforms these publishers can distribute their games on. Some prominent examples of these agreements include Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix), Bloodborne (From Software), the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI (Square Enix) and the recently announced Silent Hill 2 remastered (Bloober team).”

So what do you think? is this a reply from Sony? comment below guys, and do you have an Xbox?
