For you application developers on the App Store, Apple provides new information about applications that will be distributed to the App Store in the near future.
Starting June 30, 2022, Apple requires that every application that has a user account creation feature can also provide a feature to delete user accounts.
If a developer submits a submission to the App Store starting June 30, 2022 and doesn’t provide this feature, it’s highly likely to be denied entry to the App Store. You can read the complete guide yourself on this Apple Developer site.
The developer must give the user the option to completely delete the account and delete all user data. Options such as deactivating or temporarily disabling the account will not be sufficient to meet these new rules.
