Recently, Microsoft has updated the page health dashboard Windows 11 22H2, which they have now added a known issues new related to the performance of games on Windows 11 22H2.
Windows 11 22H2 or 2022 Update itself is actually still very young so problems and bugs are certainly not a surprising thing, including problems with decreased performance in a number of game titles that users might experience.
“Some games and apps might inadvertently enable GPU performance debugging features, which might lower performance.” Microsoft said.
Meanwhile, if users feel their game performance has decreased when they have updated the system to Windows 11 22H2, users can update the games to a newer version.
“f you are already on Windows 11, version 22H2 and are experiencing this issue, you might be able to resolve it by updating your games and gaming related apps to the latest version available. If you are element how to update the games and apps you have installed, you will need to consult the developer of those games and apps but most will update automatically through the store they were purchased from or directly when opening them.” Microsoft explained.
However, Microsoft is currently investigating the issue and most likely, this bug will be fixed in cumulative updates future. In addition, Microsoft also recommends that users do not update via the Media Creation Tool or perform manual updates via Windows Update to the Windows 11 22H2 version, at least for now when this bug still exists.
“We are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release. Notes:We recommend that you do not attempt to manually upgrade using theUpdate nowbutton or the Media Creation Tool until this issue has been resolved and the safeguard removed. “
