Around last August, it was reported that the Outlook application on Windows turned out to be problematic, where when users tried to open the application, the application experienced crash and become unresponsive.
After a while, Microsoft did investigation on the problem, it can finally be concluded that the problem occurs when data strings from Email Address below Office Identity turns out to be remain blank.
After that, Microsoft provides a temporary fix step in case a user encounters the problem, where the user can enter value of email address manually, you can see these steps on the Microsoft page following.
Now regarding this problem, some time ago Microsoft finally fixed the bug from their system, where users simply update their Outlook application to version 2209 (Build 15629.20156) and semi-annual enterprise channel (Preview) version 2208 (Build 15601.20158).
“This issue is fixed in Current Channel Version 2209 (Build 15629.20156) and Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (Preview) Version 2208 (Build 15601.20158). As these builds get to the other channels the fixes will follow.said Microsoft.
So, for those of you users of the Microsoft Office default Outlook application, it’s a good idea to update your Microsoft Office application to the latest version of the same age as what Microsoft described above.
