After yesterday AMD is rumored have updated their chipsets by bringing support for Windows 11 22H2 or Windows 11 2022 Update, now it’s Intel’s turn to present their optimized drivers to run on the latest Windows 11 which will be released next month.
The driver presented by Intel this time is the Wi-Fi Driver, specifically for those who use Intel Wireless Adapters Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 6, 9000, 8000, and 7000. Where the driver version released this time is version 22.160.0 and users can already download via the Intel page following.
In this new version, the Driver now supports Windows 11 22H2 and of course with that the driver should run optimally on that version of Windows 11, besides that there are a number of improvements that are also presented in this update including:
- Throughput performance occurs after resuming from hibernate when using IntelĀ® Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapters.
- When using a PC with an IntelĀ® Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter in hotspot mode, some Android devices might experience degraded downlink throughput performance.
- When roaming from a 2.4 GHz network to a 5 GHz network with a different SSID, the PC may fail to obtain an IP address.
Now regarding this new driver, unfortunately the driver has not been presented through Windows Update, so for you Wireless Adapter users from Intel, you have to download and install this driver manually from the page following.
