17 Years of Operation, Zippyshare Decides to Close!

Zippyshare, one of the popular file hosting services that is quite popular with users because even though it has pop up ads which are called a hassle, this service does not reduce the download speed for users in the least.

Regarding Zippyshare, friends, WinPoin recently received news that after 17 years of operation, this file hosting service has decided to end its journey, where based on the information that WinPoin received, this closure was due to some financial constraints on Zippyshare.

Sekilas mengenai layanan file Hosting ini, Zippyshare sendiri  didirikan pada tahun 2006, dan sejak itu sudah mulai menjadi salah satu layanan file hosting  favorit bagi para pengguna internet baik untuk mengunggah dan mengunduh file. Salah satu kelebihan dari file hosting ini, Zippyshare terkenal karena menghadirkan layanan yang mudah digunakan dan murah, hal tersebut karena layanan ini ditawarkan 100% gratis tanpa biaya layanan premium.

Unfortunately, Zippyshare faces financial challenges that are difficult for them to overcome, where there are currently quite a number of Adblock users which of course reduces ad revenue which is Zippyshare’s main source of funds and income, besides that because more and more similar file hosting makes this service’s traffic worse and causing them to run out of funds.

Another reason that was revealed was also because of the significant increase in electricity costs, where the increase was up to 2.5 times which of course made Zippyshare’s operational costs even more burdensome.

The user is asked to make a backup

In announcement Officially, Zippyshare asks users to immediately back up files within two weeks before this service is completely closed at the end of March 2023.

It’s quite unfortunate, because Zippyshare is also one of my favorite file hosting services, but because there are already quite a lot of competitors and also because many users have activated Adblocker, inevitably, Zippyshare, which was founded in 2006, had to end in 2006. this year 2023.
